As we all know, we are expecting a sizeable storm in our area. Republic Services will be closed on Monday, February 23rd, 2026, with the hope of re-opening on Tuesday. Republic will treat the pickup like a holiday week. Lower Gwynedd's collection will be on Tuesday and then again on Friday this week.
While we understand that some residents may have additional material, please only place your receptacle out for collection in order to mitigate safety hazards for the crew members. Additionally, it’s vital that residents place their carts in an area unobstructed by ice and snow and that there is a clear path for the drivers and helpers to access them. The drivers will not be permitted to walk through snowbanks to access and empty cans.
