Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Can someone else pick up my tree or shrub?
Yes! A friend, family member, or neighbor may pick up your tree or shrub. Please make sure they have a copy of your confirmation receipt and know the name used for registration.
I deleted my confirmation email. Can I access it again?
As long as you have your ID we can look up your request by your last name.
How large are the trees and shrubs?
Most shrubs are over 3-4 feet tall, while many trees range from 5–6 feet tall.
Can I request a tree for HOA open space?
Please contact the Township Office at 215-646-5302 to discuss eligibility.
Can I choose my exact tree?
Due to the volume of pickups, Township staff and volunteers will load the trees for residents.
What if I cannot attend pickup day?
Contact a friend or neighbor to ask them to pick up for you.
Will extra trees be available?
Most trees and shrubs are reserved through registration. If any remain after pickup, they may become available on a first-come, first-served basis, but availability is not guaranteed. If you have room for a second tree or shrub you can ask when you pick up, but there are no guarantees.
What should I do with the black growing bag?
Please return the bag to the Township Building after planting. A blue collection bin will be located near the entrance. If the bin is unavailable, bags can be brought directly to the Parks & Recreation Department.
