Spring House Intersection Improvement Project
Please remain patient and understanding until we get to a much-improved intersection.
Lower Gwynedd continues to look for ways to reduce the backups motorists are experiencing at the intersection during construction. The good news is that significant progress is being made throughout the limits of work. While motorists will experience some inconvenience primarily on weekdays from 9:00AM – 3:00PM due to construction until the project is completed in July, most of the work requiring lane closures – with the accompanying traffic backups – should be over by the middle of May. Any lane restrictions after this date should be much less frequent and shorter in duration.
Please be considerate to neighbors and do not block intersections at Gwynedd Hunt, Spring House Shopping Center or McKean Road while trying to get through this busy intersection. In addition, please be observant of construction workers within the project area to help with their safety.
