2010 Budget

On December 22, 2009 the Board of Supervisors approved the 2010 Budget. Attached is the document for your review.

NEW PARKING AREA FOR NORTH TREWELLYN TRAIL IS NOW OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

The recently leased trail from Merck & Co. Inc. by the township now has a parking area off of Sumneytown Pike for residents to access the trail. Please note that the parking area in the rear and front of the existing building on the property is privately owned and for the employees of the buildings ONLY. Residents are asked not to access the trail from either the front or rear of the property but through the parking area and trail connnection recently constructed.

SAFETY ALERT: PA SWINE FLU PRESS RELEASE

The Department of Health is working to educate the public and health care providers of recommended steps to prepare for potential cases of swine influenza in Pennsylvania. Please read the attached press release for more information.

Park & Recreation Discounted Park/Ski Tickets

During the summer months between May and August the Township offers discounted tickets to amusement parks, the Philadelphia Zoo and Baltimore Aquarium along with a variety of other family attractions. During the winter season, discounted ski and tubing tickets are available for a variety of the local ski resorts.

Parks & Recreation Department - Winter Programs

The Parks & Recreation Department has a variety of programs and events scheduled for the Fall season. Don't forget the Penllyn Woods Community Building makes a great location for family gatherings and birthday parties.

US Route 202 Construction Project

PennDOT will be performing work on the northern portion of US Route 202 (DeKalb Pike) starting in March 2010. For up-to-date construction schedules, lane restrictions, project milestones and complete project information please refer to www.us202.com .

Moisture Problems in Stuctures

Certain types of synthetic stucco have been used in residential and commercial construction since they became popular in the 1990's. Buildings with this and other types of exterior insulation and finish systems (EIFS) have been discovered to be susceptible to moisture penetrating and accumulating behind the EIFS, causing problems.
