Comprehensive Plan Revision

Share Your Vision!

Lower Gwynedd Township is in the process of drafting a new comprehensive plan, and we want to hear from you! The plan will provide a vision for the future of the township and a framework for the management of development in Lower Gwynedd over the next 20 years. Your opinion is important to help us understand the issues that are most important to you both in your neighborhood and on a township-wide scale. If you live, work, shop, or otherwise spend time in Lower Gwynedd, we invite you to provide feedback. This spring, the Steering Committee will be taking a closer look at the trails, open spaces, waterways and other natural features in the township. What do you value most about access to nature in Lower Gwynedd?  

The April Steering Committee meeting covered the natural features of the township, ecological stewardship, and the role that infrastructure plays in building sustainable places. We also discussed sustainability more broadly than ecological sustainability, and the ways that the comprehensive plan could weave sustainability themes into all aspects of the plan.
