Journalist & Non-Fiction Author Beth Macy: Dopesick

 

 (July, 2019) Upper Dublin & Wissahickon Valley Public Libraries present the Summer 2019 “Let’s Discuss it!” Wednesday, August 21, 7:00p in the Upper Dublin Township Community Rooms, 801 Loch Alsh Avenue, Fort Washington, PA. In collaboration with Towne Book Center & Café.

 

In their thirteenth collaborative Let’s Discuss It! author event the Upper Dublin and Wissahickon Valley Public Libraries invite you to an evening with award winning journalist and author Beth Macy as she discusses her nonfiction book Dopesick: Dealers, Doctors, and the Drug Company that Addicted America. An instant New York Times and indie bestseller, Dopesick is the only book to fully chart the devastating opioid crisis in America: “a harrowing, deeply compassionate dispatch from the heart of a national emergency” (New York Times) from a bestselling author and journalist who has lived through it.
